Artist Story
About Soulful Squirrel Studios
Soulful Squirrel Studios is an independent creative studio founded by songwriter, singer, and creative director Mike LeBlanc. The studio creates emotionally honest songs and visual stories exploring love, faith, loss, grace, kindness, human connection, and the complicated beauty of being alive. Mike writes the lyrics and shapes each project’s genre, tempo, key, vocal character, instrumentation, emotional arc, and production direction. AI-assisted tools help bring that vision to life, serving as part of the creative instrument, band, and studio while human experience, judgment, and intention remain at the center. The name reflects the studio’s creative spirit: soulful enough to pursue meaning, curious enough to explore unexpected ideas, and determined enough to keep gathering the small details that make a story feel real. Soulful Squirrel Studios creates music for people who want more than background sound. These are songs meant to be felt, questioned, remembered, and shared. Curious by nature. Soulful by design.

Alone in a crowd (Circus Noir)
A haunting reflection on digital loneliness, performed identities, and the masks we wear to feel loved, asking whether anyone truly knows us, or if we recognize ourselves when the performance ends.
Where's the line?
A self-aware anthem questioning where human creativity ends and technology begins, tracing the tools artists once feared to today’s AI and asking whether intention, not technique, is what makes art real.
