What is a NorthKind custom song?

A NorthKind custom song is an original, made-to-order song shaped by the names, memories, occasion, mood, genres, vocal direction, and meaningful details you provide. Personal packages are designed for gifts, birthdays, family stories, memorials, tributes, and weddings. The Event package is designed for celebrations, reunions, community gatherings, memorial events, and other special occasions.

How it works

How does the custom-song process work?

1. Choose a package

Compare the Personal Starter, Personal Premium, and Event packages by price, included files, revisions, and permitted use.

2. Tell the story

Share the occasion, people, feelings, memories, phrases, and important details that should guide the song.

3. Shape the sound

Choose genres, moods, vocal style, energy, and the ideas or phrases that must be included.

4. Checkout securely

Your project brief is saved before you continue to secure payment through Stripe.

5. Review and production

NorthKind reviews the brief and requested timeline before production. Updates and delivery are managed through your Member account.

Custom-song frequently asked questions

What is included in each custom-song package?

Starter includes one AI-assisted custom song, MP3 delivery, one revision, and a personal-use license. Premium includes lyrics and production, WAV and MP3 files, cover art, a metadata package, three revisions, and personal use. Event includes full production, WAV and MP3 files, an instrumental version, cover art, metadata, three revisions, and an event-use license.

How long does a custom song take?

You may request a preferred timeline in the project brief. NorthKind reviews the requested date, the project’s complexity, and the current production schedule before confirming timing. Selecting a timeline is a request rather than a guaranteed delivery date.

Can I request revisions?

Yes. Starter includes one revision. Premium and Event packages each include three revisions. Revisions are used to adjust the delivered work within the scope of the original brief; a substantially different song direction may require a separate agreement.

What files will I receive?

Starter provides an MP3. Premium provides WAV and MP3 files, cover art, and a metadata package. Event provides WAV and MP3 files, an instrumental version, cover art, and a metadata package. Completed files are delivered through the protected Member area.

Who may use the finished custom song?

Starter and Premium include a personal-use license. Event includes an event-use license. Public advertising, resale, business promotion, or other commercial uses are not included unless NorthKind Sound Music provides written permission or a separate agreement.

What happens after I submit and pay?

Your brief is saved and payment is completed securely through Stripe. NorthKind then reviews the submitted information before production begins. Your free Member account provides access to project questions, private updates, draft reviews, completed-song delivery, downloads, and request history.

Can I change or withdraw my request?

You may edit or withdraw a request for up to 24 hours after submission unless NorthKind begins reviewing it sooner. Once review or production begins, the original request becomes read-only, but you may still send project notes to NorthKind.

Only provide material that you have permission to use, including names, photographs, documents, lyrics, quotations, and reference files. Review the Terms and Privacy Policy, or contact NorthKind if you need help choosing a package or explaining the intended use.
